In 2017, Attention Homes received a $10,000 grant from the Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation.
Based in Denver, the Buell Foundation was established in 1962 to support projects throughout Colorado to “prepare young people to live healthy lives and contribute responsibly to the community.” The foundation’s vision is that “all children, youth, and families will fulfill their greatest potential.”
Our work with the Buell Foundation focuses specifically on reproductive and sexual health classes for our clients. The program is designed to help young people learn how to develop healthy, trusting relationships, sex positive attitudes, and safe sex practices that reduce pregnancy rates and ensure physical and emotional well-being.
We are thrilled to have the support of the Buell Foundation as we offer these critical health and well-being classes, equipping our youth with much needed life-skills. Thank you Buell Foundation!
