Sleep Out. Dine Out. Shout Out for Homeless Youth
November is National Homeless & Runaway Youth Awareness Month. Read below on 2018 events.
Sleep Out: On November 8th, 100+ people gathered to Sleep Out to raise awareness & funds for Attention Homes and youth homelessness. It’s not too late to support this cause & donate to a sleeper! Click Here for Fundraising Pages
Dine Out: All November long, Boulder’s California Pizza Kitchen donated 20% of purchases from patrons that visited on behalf of Attention Homes.
Shout Out: On November 14, Cultures of Dignity & NY Times best-selling author, Rosalind Wiseman, hosted a presentation geared towards what youth need and how parents and caregivers can help them navigate today’s pressures.
Round Up at McGuckin Hardware
McGuckin Hardware in Boulder participated in “Round-Ups” to benefit Attention Homes during November 9-18. Over 7,000 individuals rounded up their purchase for homeless youth & they raised $2,552!
Forever Young: an 80’s Prom
Attention Homes’ 11th Annual Kaleidoscope Gala took place on May 12, 2018 at the Omni Interlocken Resort. Forever young: an 80’s Prom was a totally bodacious night & huge success! We stepped back to the 80’s with spiked punch, prom photos, silent & live auctions, an inspirational program featuring guest speaker Liz Murray & shakin it up on the dance floor to 80’s hits! With over 25 event sponsors, dozens of donors, and nearly 300 guests, Attention Homes raised over $235K to support youth in crisis. Thank you to all that made the night a success!
What do you get when you combine a spelling bee game show, life-lines, & silly costumes with professional comedians? Spellapalooza: A hilarious night of fun!
On Feb 28th, 6 teams competed in a spelling bee contest with a comedic twist at the Boulder JCC. The event raised over $15,000 for Attention Homes and was a hilariously fun night!
