Attention Homes is always in need of donations that go towards supporting youth in need and offsetting our costs. Please see our wish list of items we need, as well as answers to the most common questions we get about in-kind donations. We truly appreciate your support!

Meal Donations

Meal Donations
Make dinner for the youth staying with us! You can sign up for one meal, or a monthly commitment. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Review our meal guidelines
  2. Fill out a meal application & send to Alex at
  3. Alex will send you a link to our calendar. You pick a date & sign up!

Amazon Wish List
Shop our Amazon Wish List for items that can be bought from Amazon and shipped directly to us. This is the best way to ensure we receive donations we truly need.

Auto Donations

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do you need for material donations?

A: Our needs for material items are constantly changing. Currently our needs include new socks and underwear, travel size toiletries, and sandwiches for our outreach program.

Q: How do I donate?

A: We appreciate a heads up before you donate so we can be sure we’re available to take it.  Please call 303.447.1206 and then you can bring your items to our administrative office at 1443 Spruce St in Boulder.  If you have food items, please call Alex at 303.447.1206 and ask if the item is needed first.

Q: Can you pick up items from my location?

A: Unfortunately we don’t have the resources to pick up items. We appreciate your support in dropping things off!

Q: Do you take used clothing?

A: We ask that you donate used clothing to A Precious Child, a clothing bank where we can then select exactly what we need for our youth.

Q: Is my material donation tax deductible?

A: Yes! You determine the value of your item and we send you a receipt that you can use as a tax write-off. We’re not able to give you an estimate on the value of any items you donate; it’s up to you to decide the value you write off.

Q: Do I have to fill out the tax form even if I don't want a tax break?

A: We ask that you please fill it out. We track material donations for internal reasons, and the information is often used in grant writing. We like to be as accurate as we can and you can help us do that with the form. If you don’t want a receipt, simply check the box “I wish to remain anonymous.”

Q: I have something unusual—can I donate it?

A: We ask that you please call Alex at 303-447-1206 or email If the item is furniture, we ask that you send a photo and let us know the dimensions, so we can determine if it fits our needs.
