For his final Eagle Scout project, Jake Lee, a Centaurus High School senior, wanted to find a practical way to give back to his peers. “School is hard enough without the stress of worrying where your next meal might come from, or where you might sleep,” stated Lee on his fundraising page. Since he did not want our youth to worry about how they will get their school supplies, Jake raised around $1,800 for his project during June & July to provide school supplies to the youth at Attention Homes. With the donation, Lee purchased backpacks and filled them with back to school items such as binders, calculators, pens & pencils, and a Target gift card in each one for everybody to get something special. Lee was able to provide 20 backpacks full of resources necessary for back to school success.

Thanks to Jake’s vision and persistence, the youth at Attention Homes can be less stressed and more prepared for the start of the upcoming school year. Thanks Jake!
